QSNCC partners with Bangchak to jointly collect used cooking oil for SAF production.

Reduction of food waste is one activity of Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in achieving sustainable development. Towards this end, Sutichai Bunditvorapoom (4th left), Executive Vice President of N.C.C Management and Development Co., Ltd., the operator of QSNCC; Gloyta Nathalang (5th left), Acting Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation PCL; Nipon Lerttassanee (6th left), Executive Vice President, Project Management, Engineering and Logistics Business, Bangchak Corporation PCL; Tanawat Linjongsubongkot (2nd left), Chief Executive Officer, Thanachok Group and Sutida  U-tapan (3rd left), Director Bureau of Food and Water Sanitation, Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health,  join hands in “Fry to Fly” and “No Refry” campaign. The collaborative campaign involves QSNCC sending leftover cooking oil for conversion into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), which is clean energy that significantly helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions from the aviation industry.
